Supplier Quality Engineer

Your role:

A new opportunity has arisen to join the Danvers Mobius Operations organization as a Supplier Quality Engineer in the Quality Systems team.  Along with our Senior Quality Engineer, you support the supplier quality management process. Travel to domestic and international supplier locations may be required, 5%.

·  Conducting supplier audits in accordance with ISO 9001 following risk-based auditing strategy
·  Managing supplier non-conformances to ensure root causes are addressed with timely and effective CAPAs
·  Assisting in the initiation and maintenance of supplier quality agreements
·  Providing sound quality and validation input to supplier qualifications (new suppliers, raw material changes, etc.) and ensuring all changes follow internal Quality Management System
·  Supporting supplier improvement projects
·  Maintaining standardized metrics that guide actions and promote continuous improvement (e.g. supplier performance, SCAR responsiveness, etc.)
·  You may also conduct internal ISO audits.

 

Who you are:

 

Basic Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Life Sciences
·  1+ years of Quality Engineering experience in FDA-regulated industry (pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device) or in life science industry
·  1+ years of experience conducting audits

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Engineering Degree
·  Experience with TrackWise software
·  Knowledgeable in ISO 9001 and/or GMP
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Proven strong influencing skills with ability to motivate, inspire, and negotiate with internal and external teams and suppliers to achieve goals and objectives
·  Collaborative and motivated team player
