Quality Control Technician
Your Role:
The Quality Control lab is a laboratory environment requiring the ability to carry out laboratory operating procedures in a safe manner, while maintaining a clean and orderly workspace. Maintain, clean, calibrate, etc. equipment, document and notify appropriate parties if calibration is required. The QC Tech will assist in chemical disposal, perform inspection on incoming raw materials and add them to inventory, assist senior staff with advanced chemical analysis techniques, accurately record and report data, run karl fisher titration, residue on ignition and FTIR analysis, maintain glassware and laboratory equipment.

· The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
· Specific vision abilities by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
· The employee must have the ability to perform moderately physical activity
· This is a Laboratory setting Personal Protective Equipment required
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
· High School diploma OR GED equivalent required. College coursework in physical or biological science/engineering/life science highly preferred
· 1+ year of laboratory work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
· Intermediate experience with Excel
· Outstanding math skills
· Strong Documentation Practices
· Ability to read, follow and understand operating procedures.
· Capable of doing basic math and Metrology.
· Comfortable working with computers and fluent with Excel spreadsheets.
· Willingness to learn multiple operations and adjust quickly to new tasks.
· Interest in working in a scientific field.
· Reading and writing English communication skills.
