Regional Finance Overheads Co-Pilot

Salary - £47,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Location – Padington

After the successful move of the overheads co-pilot to a new role, the role of Regional overheads co-pilot position for Confectionery Europe is vacant.

The purpose of the job is to

·  Co-Pilot the EMEA Regional Center ($90M) to deliver its financial shape in alignment with the company’s strategy.
·  Deliver insights and recommendations on EMEA region and its Units Overheads development ($1B) how to deliver short and long objectives aligned with the company’s strategy. Support and influence overhead target setting and other investment decisions
·  Be a drive belt between Global and Units to ensure new tools and processes are adopted

In this role you will:

·  Manage the Financial Shape of the Regional Overheads Center from target setting and alignment of objectives – which are fully aligned to the strategic direction and aspirations of the business – towards delivering actual Overheads results against the budget
·  Engage with Regional Stakeholders, including Regional Functional Presidents to explain financial methodologies and performance
·  Delivers insights and analysis on financial results and guides future business decisions. This includes periodic and ad hoc financial packages to support Regional CFO
·  Supports Regional PMO on Organization related matters with building scenarios, tracking progress and liaise with Corporate Controlling to ensure alignment with Policies.
·  Manages operational execution of period closing and planning cycles: review of preliminary periodic results, incoming and outgoing charges and initiate accruals if appropriate; prepares plan loader packages and delivers them to MFS if applicable.
·  Identify, recommend and implements process / system improvements to ensure financial processes are effective and efficient in co-operation with MFS, the Regional EMEA Team and Corporate Controlling
·  Be the key point of contact for the whole Region about global cross-charges to understand and challenge the targets received, cascade them to units, ensure actuals are correctly posted
·  Lead the animation of the overheads community copilot of the Region (for both factories and markets) by organizing periodic calls with 20+ copilots to inform units of Region performance, share best practice, listen to common needs across the Region…
·  Develop new tools to monitor overheads either leveraging on new tools (Power BI, Tableau…) or in coordination with the Digital Factory

To do this role you’ll need:

·  Have experience as a Finance business partner in a business (market) will be an asset to understand business dynamics. Being “fluent” in Excel and having some appetite to learn about new tools “Power BI” is a must. Being organized, being able to set priorities to manage a large number of activities and stakeholders will be key to succeed in the role.

·  The job is located in Paddington, a new, modern regional hub for senior leaders. Associates usually work from home 1 day a week on Fridays.
