As a R&D Data Scientist, you will be in charge of solving problems and innovating for tomorrow by developing systems through computer simulation and other forms of computation from numerical analysis to theoretical computer science in collaboration with external partners

Key responsibilities

R&D Data Science Strategy and Ecosystem

·  In deep connection with the Business needs, you’ll be a key player helping defining the Royal Canin R&D Data Science Strategy.
·  Thanks to your experience and network, you’ll have a key role in helping building Royal Canin Data Science Ecosystem mainly through external partners’ management.

Lead of R&D Data Science projects

Building on your expertise and experience and according to the Business needs, you’ll be responsible for :

·  Helping the Business identifying opportunities
·  Ideating, designing and managing Data Science/IA projects

Disseminate Data Science culture and mindset

As Data Science is a brand new domain for Royal Canin associates, you will be in charge of disseminating this culture to associates in order to leverage them in this new domain.

Strategical and technological watches

So Royal Canin keeps up to date with new technologies, you will be in charge of strategic and technological watches for your scope

What we are looking for

You have a master's degree in Data Science/Artificial intelligence and a master's degree in Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or similar, with a deep technical expertise in Complex Data Management, Data Analysis, Data Mining, and experience in Machine/Deep Learning projects (Watson like), ideally in a Pet related environment.

Knowledge of Agile methods and UX/User centricity are a plus.

You speak English fluently and are motivated by collaborative work in an international environment.

You have 5 years or more, experience in managing complex projects with external partners, ideally in a company.
