Reporting to the Sr. Supply Finance FP&A Manager, the Supply Finance Systems Analyst assumes the responsibility of fulfilling daily product costing requests, performing quarterly affiliate sales price maintenance, and executing factory period close for the Bolton factory in SAP. She also assists the Supply Finance Systems Manager with the annual costing processes and serves as her backup for US factory period close activities. A thorough understanding of how materials flow through ERP system and their impact on the financial statements is critical part of this role.

·  The Analyst fulfills all Workflow requests related to product costing and affiliate sales price maintenance in SAP for new items in the US. There is a significant amount of requests on a daily basis so this activity will consume greater than 50% of total role responsibilities.
·  This Analyst is also responsible for the quarterly affiliate sales price calculation and maintenance in addition to fielding requests/questions from our affiliate business partners.
·  Bolton pet plant SAP period close activities are completed by this Analyst. Any issues that arise during the close will be investigated and correcting prior to the following period close.
·  While the Supply Finance Systems Manager is responsible for coordinating the annual product costing timeline and procedures, the Analyst provides heavy support with the execution of annual costing activities.
·  The Analyst acts as backup to the Supply Finance Systems Manager in times of her absence.
·  This Analyst supports controls and governance initiatives as related to factory systems.
·  Partner with the data team and project management teams on product costing for new items. This requires identifying opportunities to improve our processes, networking with/influencing stakeholders throughout the Workflow process, and prioritizing what is most critical and/or time sensitive on daily basis.
·  Functional accounting expertise of advanced system understanding needed to ensure proper costing and reporting in SAP.
·  Partner with affiliates on their questions/concerns around our published affiliate sales prices.
·  Partner with the Supply Finance Systems Manager on continuous improvement initiatives related to product costing and reporting.

Qualifications

·  Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting or Finance
·  5+ years experience in supply accounting or finance role
·  SAP Proficiency in the areana of product costing is required (Mars Atlas template experience preferred)
·  Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to including experience in areas such as financial statement review.
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the organizational agility to influence performance to deliver results
·  Ability to quickly build collaborative relationships, credibility, trust, and respect, with individuals within the organization.
·  Ability to learn and adapt to new business model, systems, processes.
