Position Summary:

The Demand Planning Analyst is responsible for assisting the Demand Planning team in analysing, planning and evaluating a rolling 39 month forecast. The Analyst will also be responsible for forecasting baselines while leveraging a variety of data sources, including consumption, shipment, and brand insights. The Analyst will assist the team with S&OP Demand Management Review preparations and ad hoc analysis. Demand planning analyst will be held responsible to a select group of Key Performance Metrics (KPIs) such as SFA, Bias, Forecast Value Add.

Principal Accountabilities:

·  Responsible for data maintenance in JDA/LDS including model tuning, exceptions, reconciliation and negative error corrections, history validation other system responsibilities
·  Own statistical model baseline creation, leveraging existing tools and executing customer planned volume changes (distribution, new items, etc)
·  Provide analysis for key KPI misses and determine drivers working with Demand Planners on correct actions to improve accuracy
·  Assist Demand Planners with ad hoc analysis, including but not limited to ship/consumption analysis, pack / flavor deep dives, ship location splits, etc
·  Assist Demand Planners with S&OP Demand Management Review preparation
·  Provide analytical support that enables team members to make better informed business decisions
·  Utilize existing and/or develop new tools to automate manual tasks
·  Manages and monitors seasonality trends
·  Provides KPI reporting to various business partners

Preferred Requirements:

·  1+ year experience in data mining and analytics
·  Previous JDA and or E2Open experience preferred
·  1+ year experience in demand planning or CPFR preferred
