Qualifications :

JOB SUMMARY

To comply with all company procedures on all night audit and hotel systems. To balance all outlets and resolve any discrepancies. To assist the Night Manager in the running of the Hotel and to ensure the security of the Hotel and our guests is paramount. To be responsible for the operation of the hotel in the absence of the Night Manager and to supervise the night porters

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Experience:

· 
Operational experience in a 4 star property would be preferred.

· 
Previous co-ordination experience would be preferred

Skills and Knowledge
· 
Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)

·  Innovative
·  Pro-active and reliable
· 
Good working knowledge of Fidelio or Front desk system

·  Good administration skills
· 
Excellent time management skills

· 
Ability to priortise work load

·  Good personal presentation
· 
Able to work alone and within a team

Education or Certification
· 
Good level of English essential

·  NVQ level 3 or equivalent

SPECIFIC DUTIES

The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:

·  To be aware of all night procedures and functions to include night audit, front desk operations, room service and night porters duties
·  Ensure that all night audit procedures are fully completed before the start of the next days business
·  To be responsible for Front desk overnight and to be responsible for the night safe and outlets pay ins
·  To ensure that the hotel is secure and to make sure security rounds are completed by the night porters
·  To fully competent in the Fire procedures, Bomb procedures and all other health and safety procedures
·  To supervise and delegate any tasks to the night porters
·  To be responsible for all hotel operations in the absence of the Night Manager
·  To handle and resolve any guest or associate concerns/complaints in the absence of the night manager
·  To carry out short takes training in the absence of the Night Manager
·  To liaise with all departments regarding any events in the hotel in the absence of the Night Manager
·  To ensure that all wake up calls and newspapers orders are inputted and delivered correctly
· 
Ensure floats are counted and balanced at start and end of shift and they are secure at all times. Blind Banking procedures are followed along with all local and Marriott policies and procedures.
