POSITION SUMMARY
The Global Groups Sales Coordinator will report to Groups & Leisure Sales Desk Manager. The Global Groups Sales Coordinator will support a team of Sales Support Executives, Account Managers / Directors who are managing groups business globally into 6,900+ hotels across all brands within the Marriott International Portfolio.

SCOPE
• Location requirements: The Global Groups Sales Coordinator will be located at the Marriott London Global Sales Office
• Language Requirements: High proficiency (speaking, reading and writing) in English is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs all duties as assigned in order to meet business needs, demonstrating flexibility and an adaptable nature
• Supports and management of the generic inbox
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings
• Manage inquiries for global sourcing
• Supports the Global Groups UK Team in the generation of daily Cvent lead reports
• Ad-hoc Reporting
• Timely communication with clients, property teams and colleagues
• Problem solving
• Organize, plan and prioritize work in order to accomplish goals
• Performs other related tasks assigned by management
• Complies with Marriott International London Regional Office policies and procedures

• Languages and qualifications are beneficial but not essential

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION:
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 2 year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel or Restaurant Management required
