JOB TITLE:                   In-Salon Education Coordinator

REPORTS TO:              Manager, Education Administration

DEPARTMENT:            Education Administration

LOCATION:                   St. Petersburg, Florida (SalonCentric National Operations Center)

 

OVERVIEW:

The In-Salon Education Coordinator assists in the planning and execution of In-Salon brand education classes and activities within the assigned geographic marketplace. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Process all in-salon class bookings for specified brands:

o    Receive online requests from SSC;

o    Verify the salon purchases and/or loyalty program payment for class;

o    Forward request to Brand for scheduling or schedule directly with Educator;

o    Once class is booked, enter into system and notify the SSC of the booking;

o    Re-confirm with salon.

·  Receive billing from educators and process for payment and/or credit:

o    Confirm that class was held, confirm fees and all other expenses;

o    Approve charges on Randstad;

o    Process for Revers PO (TEA) if applicable;

o    Coordinate accruals with Finance/Accounts Payable.

·  Act as a liaison between Sales Consultants and Educators.
·  Maintain Educator database and contracts for assigned brands.
·  Follow up with Educators to confirm status of in-salon class assignments.
·  Communicate with Product Fulfillment Coordinator to coordinate all in-salon education logistics: sign-in sheets, class supply and product deliveries and pick-ups, call tags and equipment
·  Attend weekly one-on-one status meetings with Education Brand Manager.
·  Attend occasional trade shows as needed (minimal travel required).
·  Participate in Education planning meetings as needed.
·  Coordinate paperwork for state continuing education credit where applicable.
·  Perform other departmental duties as directed by Education Brand Manager.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

·  At least 2-3 years of professional experience; beauty industry experience preferred but not required
·  Strong computer skills, including MS Excel/Word (required) and SalesForce.com (preferred)
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·  Strong time-management skills and ability to multitask
·  Bachelor’s degree preferred. High school or GED req
