Job description



Roles and Responsibilities


· Support and maintain multi-landscape SAP environments

· Perform installation, configuration, integration, upgrade and testing of SAP systems

· Implement software upgrades, enhancements, patches as needed and coordinate with technical, functional teams and business users

· Perform root-cause-analysis, as well as performance management and optimization of SAP Systems

· Proactively analyze SAP environment to detect deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement

· Perform daily checks on systems and interfaces and ensure business processes are not impacted

· Monitors ticket queues and services to meet operational level agreement with customers.

· Tune SAP environments to ensure integrity, and stability and optimal performance.

· Perform Capacity planning and future growth assessments of all SAP systems

· Lead sub-projects as assigned, as well as to act as a mentor in developing, coaching and encouraging of other less experience team members

· Prepare and maintain system documentation, procedures, and standards

· Have to work in different shifts to provide support 24/7 and perform On-Call responsibilities, which requires a 24×7 pager on a rotational basis

Qualifications and Skills

· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

· Six plus years of SAP Basis experience in supporting components SAP ECC, CRM, BW, PI, EP,GW,SLD, Solution Manager, HANA, BOBJ BI/BODS, JAVA system and etc. in a globally deployed environment.

· Deep knowledge of SAP system installations and administration, as well as deep understanding of the SAP architecture and multiple application modules, particularly strong SAP NetWeaver platform knowledge.

· Experience in Maintaining SAP performance by planning and executing SAP tuning strategies.

· Experience in MSSQL DB, and HANA administration

· Experience with two or more full implementation cycles.

· Solid understanding of Windows OS, Linux administration and Cluster (windows, Hazelcast) troubleshooting

· Hands-on Automation experience of some of the routine BASIS activities

· Worked in 24*7 support environments with On-Call
