The IT Asset Officer manages the KPMG AU software inventory from the procurement of licences through to the removal of licences. The IT Asset Officer ensures we achieve economies of scale, commercial compliance and meet all contractual deliverables and obligations for the company around software licence management.

Your opportunity
·  Develop framework for software asset management
·  Software compliance via usage & metering reports
·  Ensuring the review of asset renewals is performed in a timely and thorough manner to maintain compliance
·  Provide recommendations for greater efficiency including identifying cost avoidance/saving opportunities in hardware /software purchases/maintenance and consolidation
·  Liaise directly with software vendors on behalf of customers or for specific terms and conditions for all software
·  Manage software renewals in a timely manner including minimising true-up costs
·  Global license survey feedback
·  Maintaining accurate asset records and reports through the cyclical reconciliation of asset acquisitions, entitlements and requirement data
·  Performing a license reconciliation analysis for different stakeholders
·  Analysis and reports on software requests to identify trends How are you Extraordinary?

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include:
·  Solid Understanding of Asset Management
·  Strong understanding of ITIL principles
·  Understanding of general software licensing concept including experience with the extraction of relevant software licensing related data from contracts, purchase orders, invoices, vendor reports.
·  Experience in providing process support and governance at senior IT management level
·  Knowledge of the concepts and techniques of asset management as defined by the ISO55000:2014.
·  Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills that provide innovative solutions. The KPMG Difference
