Roleand person overview
You will be working within the Legal Services Immigrationdepartment, as part of the immigration team within Canary Wharf and alsosupporting the KBS People Operations RTWadministration team.

You will split your time between our Head Office in Canary Wharf andthe KBS RTW admin team in Watford. You will be undertaking advisory andadministrative support around internal immigration cases. You will also berequired to provide guidance and advice to the Watford based RTW admin team,providing support around all immigration activities as outlined below:

· Undertaking KPMG internalimmigration cases, mainly in the following categories:
o Tier 2 (General)
o Tier 2 (Intra Company Transfer)
o Tier 5 (Government AuthorisedExchange)
o Ancestry
o Spousal visas
o PBS Dependant visas
· Liaising closely withKPMG employees, HR and Global Mobility contacts during the application process
· Answering a wide varietyof ad hoc queries, such as those in relation to right to work, sponsorcompliance and document keeping duties
· Managing cases withvarying levels of complexity
· Project managing andadvising the business on group moves
· Ensuring all cases arehandled with accuracy and expedience
· Keeping up to date withchanges to the global immigration landscape
· Keeping all internalsystems up to date in real time

Whilst working with the Right to Work team you will be responsiblefor ensuring the right to work and visa processes within the People Operationsteam are followed, maintained and kept compliant. You will take ownership and act as the keycontact for all queries and actions necessary to support the Firm’s employees rightto work whilst ensuring we deliver an exceptional level of service inaccordance to tight timescales. Guidance and advice should be sought from yourAssistant Manager.

Stakeholder Management
· Proactively develop strong and enduring relationships with key stakeholders– including business contacts, internal HR teams, external stakeholders andassociates.
· Proactively work to educate both the RTW admin team, COE’s and thebusiness on the visa immigration process
· Have the ability to take a logical and systematic approach toissues, thinking outside of the box and weighing up all options available tomake an informed decision.
· Work as part of a team within neighbouring People COE teams andthe business to ensure a smooth and seamless service is given to the new andexisting colleagues.
· Liaise with international HR contacts to support the visa processfor transferring employees.

Case Management
· Hold a good understanding of the visa process and different tiersof right to work
· Manage high volumes of case work independently
· Ensuring visa SAP infotypes are up to date by running reports onSAP
· Action visa expiry cases for sponsored and non-sponsored visas
· Using employer checking service where necessary
· Prioritise workload in accordance to urgency and adhere to agreedSLA’s and KPI’s.
· Maintenance of tracker and implementing quality control
· Ensuring aftercare is followed through, including NationalInsurance number records are maintained updated accordingly

Inbox Management
· Manage high volumes of queries independently,
· Ability to draft non-standard communication,
· Educate business with immigration processes,
· Manage telephony communications,
· Take a commercial, considered stance to risk assessment linking inwith the compliance teams and escalating issues as appropriate to a HR BusinessAdvisor before escalation to the relevant CoE;

Right to Work Maintenance
· Quality assurance tasks including; frequent audits of RTWdocuments and Compliance files
· Ensuring work is accurate first time and that all legalrequirements are met
· Incident resolution and prevention activity

Contributing to the team and People Function
· Coach new joiners on key processes and approaches, providingguidance as appropriate;
· Share knowledge and experience proactively across the team and berecognised as a team player;
· Manage workload and own diary;
· Take part in and contribute to functional and KPMG wide projects;
· Take a personal responsibility to continuously improve andstreamline the quality of right to work and visa tasks and own personaldevelopment;
· Take a personal responsibility to adhere to our ISO standards
· Keeping the Firm free from risk

Experience,Qualifications and Skills
· It is expected that you will have at least 2 years’ of experience withina ‘Big 4’ or mid-tier law firm and can demonstrate strong technical skills;
· Have an ability to build relationships and communicate with peopleat all levels;
· High levels of resilience, with experience of working in a highlypressurised client centric environment;
· Effectively work with minimal supervision;
· Possess excellent attention to detail;
· Be an excellent communicator – written and verbal;
· Have strong organisational, literacy and numeracy skills;
· Ability to prioritise task list;
· Have a good degree of IT proficiency, including; Microsoft Excel andSAP or equivalent HR system; and
· Awareness and understanding of the Professional Services industry.
