Roles and Responsibilities
The Senior Associate will be predominantly responsible for:
• Develop an understanding of KPMG D&A service offerings, Accounting & Auditing and the applicability of D&A solutions on our Audit engagements and support General Ledger Analytics/Substantive Testing procedures
• Business Analyst or Functional Consultant experience in working with any of the ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, PeopleSoft, JDE and so on
• Hands on experience as ERP techno-functional consultant
• Experience in working with financials modules such as AR, AP, GL, Fixed Assets and Cash Management modules in any of the leading ERPs
• Optional modules understanding in context to financial aspects - Procurement, Materials Management/Inventory, Sales and Distribution/Order Management & Shipping, Payables, Receivables, Banking/Cash Management
• Any implementation/enhancement/support of ERP experience is a plus
• Expertise in working with end-users for support, troubleshooting and giving effective and efficient resolutions for the technical issues
• Collaborate with US and India Leads to co-ordinate with client IT for data extraction process, discuss results with KPMG engagement teams
• Develop industry expertise and apply understanding in discussions with engagement teams
• Being proactive and engaged in bringing new ideas and solutions to our clients
Qualifications and Skills
• Chartered/Cost Accountant or CPA with ERP / Data & Analytics experience; OR
• MBA (Finance) with Graduation in Accounting from premium institute
Experience and Background
• Minimum 4-6 years of post-qualification experience
