Job description

Our Budapest based management consulting practice provides business advisory services for a broad range of industries, including the energy, financial services and SSC sectors. We lead exciting projects supporting both business transformations and day-to-day value creation of key client teams especially in finance operations. We work together with major CEE players enabling them to achieve breakthrough results.

Key responsibilities:
- Support client's finance teams to solve issues, provide data analytics and improve overall business performance with the support of senior KPMG leadership team
- Complement management consulting engagements with solid financial analysis both in preparation of business models, client leadership presentations
- Support business development initiatives

Our business practice includes:
- Strategy development and program management
- Business process transformation, digital solutions
- Record-to-Report optimization
- Data & analytics, financial modelling
- Regulatory and compliance support

Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant experience financial analyst role (including: R2R, FP&A / controlling, business analyst) or in advisory services
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with economic/business background
- Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with outstanding business acumen
- Ability to work within a team and with people in different business cultures and organizational level
- Ability to fluently communicate complex ideas effectively in Hungarian and in English (verbally and in writing), knowledge of any Central and Eastern European languages are an asset
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work temporarily on-site together with client teams
- Solid functional knowledge in project management, business modelling, data analytics tools and interest in IT is an advantage. SSC experience, understanding sector trends / capabilities is an asset.
- Excellent oral/written communication skills in Hungarian and English; command of any Central and Eastern European languages are an asset
