Our Overland Coordinator role allows you to utilize your customer services skills along side your technical and multi-tasking skills!

Your Role

You will be the first person clients interact with. Front line service.

Your Responsibilities

The Overland Transportation Coordinator is responsible for day to day front line communication with the client, their vendors, production locations and KN Carrier Partners.  The emphasis will be placed on high touch customer interaction and operations execution; procedural and financial administration and performance monitoring. The candidate will provide front line activity and be based in our Winnipeg location.

Your Skills and Experiences

Responsible to review and action client requests received through Online Ordering systems, email and/or centralized dispatch systems;
• Process orders in KN’s TMS and Visibility Systems with a high level of data quality and performance;
• Shipment execution including booking,  monitoring to delivery point
• Invoice and accounts payable processing
• Manage track and trace updates within the TMS, either monitored electronically or manually updated;
• Where required, provide POD’s to consignees and/or customer partners;
• Coordinate carrier communication for specific service requests;
• Administer all carrier pre-qualification approvals and ensure that only KN approved carriers are used to execute Overland transportation services;
• Coordinate details for client KPI and internal performance reviews;
• Participate in sourcing carriers for new and existing activity;
• Ensure all activities are executed within KN Code of Conduct guidelines;
• Other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Company.

Qualifications:
• Diploma /Degree in International Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred;
• 2+ years industry experience in Freight Forwarding and or Transportation, including experience with Road Transportation specifically;
• 2+ years’ operations, with administration experience and customer service;
• Experience with Transborder shipping requirements;
• Strong knowledge of North American Geography;
