Mission Description

We are looking for a Business Controller to join the Benelux Controlling Team. This team plays a key role in strengthening financial and operational processes in Belgium and the Netherlands. In this position, you will serve as an active business partner for the entire leadership team. You will also be the right hand of the Benelux Business Control Manager.

You will be responsible for delivering accurate reports, in-depth analyses, and strategic advice to support the organization’s growth. Additionally, you will participate in projects aimed at optimizing operations, support various business units, and carry out initiatives to enhance reporting and analysis.
You will also collaborate with the financial directors of both entities, to whom the financial administration and credit control departments report.

**What are your responsibilities as a Business Controller?**
- Prepare and financially justify business cases;
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process;
- Monitor and develop reports to track and improve performance;
- Review and analyze cost calculations and monitor margins;
- Provide strategic support to various departments within the group;
- Suggest areas for improvement to increase profitability;
- Conduct process analyses and identify problem areas;
- Execute processes accurately and on time, in collaboration with various departments across the organization;
- Collaborate with departments such as Finance, Operations, IT, Sales, and Marketing;
- Ensure compliance with internal guidelines;
- Respond to ad hoc inquiries;
- Occasionally travel to our sites in the Netherlands (Almere/Zeist).

**Business Travel**
Travel is expected for this position:

Profil recherché

You have a financial education; preferably a Master’s degree in an economic field: Applied Economics, Commercial Engineering, or Business Sciences;
- You have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience as a Business Controller in an international environment. Experience in wholesale or retail is a plus;
- You have significant experience as a business partner to a leadership team;
- You are familiar with modern reporting tools and capable of producing accurate economic analyses;
- You are a versatile and hands-on Business Controller, meaning you can act as a strategic discussion partner on behalf of management. You are a well-rounded and practical Business Controller, capable of acting as a strategic discussion partner for leadership and producing relevant management information independently;

- You have expert knowledge of Excel; experience with BI systems is a plus;
- You have excellent Dutch and English language skills, both spoken and written;
- Key personal traits include strong analytical skills, independence, resilience, stress resistance, and a good sense of humor. You easily connect with people at all levels and are open and approachable.

**Essential Requirements**
