Duties & Responsibilities

Working as part of the Farm Shop & Cafe team on the beautiful Leckford Estate to deliver fantastic customer service to customers and Partners within the hospitality space of the cafe.

The ultimate purpose of the role is to assist in ensuring the integrity of sales information for all Leckford Farm Shop and Cafe revenue; as well as providing effective and efficient purchasing and administrative support to Leckford Farm Shop and Cafe Operations.

You will need to be self motivated with the ability to work quickly and accurately without supervision. You must able to manage your own workload and prioritise tasks without direction. It is critical you possess effective communication skills. This is a busy farm shop, therefore you must be able to maintain a calm positive and friendly approach when under pressure whilst demonstrating excellent customer service at all times.

Job Requirements

The requirements for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Act as one of the key Oracle iProc experts within Leckford Estate, supporting Partners to create and manage all supplier purchase orders, keeping up to date with best practice ways of working.
- Act as key contact to retail suppliers for all purchase order queries. Facilitating the setup process for new suppliers and maintaining existing Supplier accounts
- Acts as the Farm Shop first point of contact for other departments within the Estate.
- Ensuring Audit processes are correct and implemented.
- Providing tools needed to ensure compliance requirements are met.

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

Operational experience of an EPOS/Stock Control system
Demonstrates confidence working effectively with stakeholders of different backgrounds, including both finance and non-finance
Working in a financial processing/administrative support role
Good working knowledge of spreadsheet programs and ability to manipulate and sort data.
Demonstrates an ability to manage a busy workload and proactively prioritise any conflicts.
The role suits someone who is well organised, likes working on their own initiative and develops improvements to their processes and ways of working

Required desirable experience skills and qualifications

Knowledge and experience of relevant software applications including Excel and Word
Financial and cash management processes
Experience of working in the retail industry
Working knowledge of data management processes
Waitrose audit routines and procedures
