The Quality Analyst would be responsible for the development and ongoing implementation of Information Technology strategic plans related to Software Quality Assurance.  The Analyst would be expected to define and implement quality principles and standards, including defining and implementing appropriate test strategies and effective measurement programs. 

Responsibilities

·  Create or modify test plans and test cases/scripts for execution.
·  Communicate with development team to ensure project deliverables are on target.
·  Ensure that requirements, test case documentation and defect tracking information are logged into supporting test tools and that regular reports are generated.
·  Effectively execute the test cases/plans for quality assurance.
·  Creating status reports to follow the overall test strategy, and the test strategy as it applies to each test plan.
·  Verify the quality of the requirements, including testability, and trace the test procedures to the test requirements.
·  Make recommendations on how to improve and enhance software usability and functionality.
·  Coordinate with developers and application owners to resolve issues.
·  Stay current on latest test approaches and tools and transferring this knowledge to test team members.
·  Creating required documents for the project and sharing with everyone
·  Self-motivated to learn automation and moving project to Selenium using C#/Python scripts
·  Executing basic SQL queries to do the data validation in the test phase of SDLC
·  Monitoring the page load time and providing the recommendations and helping the development team.

Experience & Education

·  BE/B.Tech/MCA or equal technical qualification
·  3 - 5 years of IT Experience with 2+ years of Hands-On Quality Assurance Experience
·  QAI Certification or other demonstration of disciplines & skills represented in a comprehensive body of knowledge
·  Proven QA Track Record in a high-volume environment
·  Strong problem solving and analytic skills
·  Working knowledge of the SDLC and QA Life Cycle
·  Strong written and oral communication skills.

Technical Skills & Competencies

·  Understands manual testing techniques and automated testing best practices.
·  Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
·  Ability to balance workload and schedules across multiple concurrent projects.
·  Ability to drive issues to resolution with appropriate persistence and persuasiveness.
·  Understands application business areas and application requirements.
·  Experience in Postman, Jmeter, T-SQL and SQL Server management studio
·  Exposer with Azure DevOps, Javascript UI libraries
