We are looking for a Data Scientist for our Global Valuation Technology Team.

This position is primarily responsible for working with our business and project delivery teams to scope out our data and leverage it to support delivery of client use cases within our global valuation advisory business.

The position sits within the global valuation advisory technology team within Technology Data and Information Management and operates across the lines and territories of the valuation business.  The position will be supporting delivery of projects and applying the JLL global standards for data management, data science and machine learning.

What this job involves

Technical Consultancy

·  Capture and understand the business need, converting them into data driven options to be solutioned.
·  Design and build machine learning and other model based solutions to support the business requirements.
·  Provide consulting and technical support on implementations to both wider project teams and business teams.
·  Explain technical issues and data solution strategies to stakeholders and other members of the team
·  Ensure the approach used are aligned with business needs and JLL standards.

Product Expertise

·  Maintain a deep understanding of our JLL solutions and platforms and how they integrate across JLL.  Keep a view on development and other capabilities across JLL.
·  Maintain up to date knowledge of technology and data developments across the industry

We work using the agile delivery methodology and you will be part of small (3-5 person) scrum team working through definition to delivery using an incremental MVP based approach. You must be an active part of the team, ready to jump in and write code, review and participate in designing technical solutions and be able to prioritise tasks to meet our goals.

·  At least 12-24 months working in data development and delivery
·  Hold at a minimum a degree in computer engineering, as master’s degree in data science or artificial intelligence is a plus.
·  Demonstrable skills in one or more of the follow languages: C#, Java, R, Python, JavaScript, Angular, SQL, TFS, Scrum Agile. Concepts on DataBricks, Data Lake is a plus.
·  Experienced on Agile/Scrum project and team organization.
·  Strong communication.
·  Managing self and relationships with others.
·  Team working and co-operation, including dispersed/virtual teams.

Personal Skills

·  You love to solve complex problems, always striving to improve and feel passionate about data, you love the technology and enjoy pushing the boundaries
·  Ability to work in a team environment in a collaborative manner and act proactively to achieve team's goals following Agile Scrum methodology
·  Excellent listening and communication skills
