Job description

We have a new opportunity for a full time warehouse sales assistant based at our Milton Keynes store.

Start date: 21st of October 2023

CONTRACT INFORMATION
IKEA is a Living Wage Foundation Employer.
39hr contract working 5 days over 7 with every 2nd weekend off and a max of 2 late finished per week.
16hr and 20hr contracts per week working 3/4/5 days over 7 with every 4th weekend off

We operate 7 days a week shifts could be a combination of days, late evenings, and weekends (both days at the weekend are essential)

WHO YOU ARE
You will ideally bring with you previous customer service experience, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves as this is a fast-paced role in our Self-Serve Warehouse where you will be working with customers and also moving stock, ensuring a clean and safe environment in the process.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY-TO-DAY
• You will work in a physically demanding warehouse role where you will be working safely with a pallet jack, moving products, and manual handling.
• You provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
• You support maximising sales by being proud of your areas of responsibility, ensuring the customer meets an area that is clean, well presented and easy to shop.
• You will have a combination of administrative work, meeting the customer and preparing for next day's delivery.
