Join us as a Revenue Analyst at Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise, neatly nestled between the Surfers Paradise entertainment strip and Broadbeach’s chilled local dining scene. You'll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills and you'll be an integral member of the team. This role reports directly to the General Manager and works closely with our IHG Revenue Management for Hire team. In conjunction with the General Manger and Portfolio Revenue Manager you will lead and create the Annual Revenue Plan and revenue budget to drive measurable improvements in business performance to support the continued development of the InterContinental Hotels & Resorts brand within this region. You will ensure the Revenue Plan objectives are achieved by analysing current and potential markets/trends whilst co-ordinating all activities to maintain and increase revenue through added business volume and increased rate.
Your day to day
An analytical thinker, your superior networking skills will ensure your success building rapport with people at all levels whilst balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders. You will ensure all inventory and revenues are maximised to full potential across the Hotel; including but not limited to accommodation rooms, conferencing space, food and beverage outlets, channel management and loyalty contribution.You will be the key driver of internal and external revenue generation data analysis, leads cross functional decision making of sound, tactical and strategic initiatives. In conjunction with the IHG Revenue team you'll accurately forecast demand and price accordingly; to maximise hotel revenues, to achieve superior performance in comparison to the competitive set as measured in RGI and as against budget growth targets.
What we need from you
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in the Hospitality Industry, proficient understanding in Yield Management with a minimum of 2 years experience preferably in a Reservations/Yield Management Environment. Management experience desirable but not essential.
