We are looking for a Leisure Attendant to work across two areas of the hotel, Kids Club and Concierge.
Your day to day
Reporting to the Events Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include; clean and maintain the Kids Club Facility in a neat and tidy fashion, complete special instructions concerning work sheets and correctly record when work has been completed. Assist in developing a Kids Club Activity program which includes a range of activities for children of varying ages, assist in promoting the Kids Club Activity program in accordance with Marketing guidelines and manager instructions. When opportunities arise, introduce yourself to hotel guests with children who may be interested in using the Kids Club and explain the activities and facilities, maintain knowledge of the hotels policy on babysitting services and be aware of the hotels Environmental Program and carry out duties in your day to day job to promote this. Maintain thorough Knowledge of hotel emerency systems and procedures. Ensure security of guest and children's belongings, ensure adequate supply of linnen, stationary and other requirements of the Kids Club. You will possess excellent local knowledge and be able to assist guests in their daily planning.
What we need from you
To be successful in this role, you will have a current first aid and CPR certificate, a current NSW Working with Children's Check. Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, school holidays and peak leisure periods. You'll have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with guests and children of all ages. A Certificate III in Children Services is desirable.
