This role will contribute to the maintenance of the building, plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings around the Hotel.
Your day to day
Keeping our Hotel looking great is vital to our guest's experience as a Painter you’ll keep everything looking sharp and fresh. From simple touch ups to all types of repair and maintenance work in the Hotel premises, including any new additional / extensions to the Hotel or any other properties maintained by the Hotel. We're looking for someone who will take ownership and pride in their work, can apply themself to any task, and has a good eye for detail. With naturally high standards to support our own, you’ll approach every task with dedication and pride. Take advantage of working in a permanent capacity with regular hours, in an indoor/outdoor environment, and being a part of a great team!
What we need from you
Ideally you'll have a trade certificate in Painting/Decorating with at least 3 years experience in a similar role. We will train you in your Handy-Person duties to ensure you gain a new set of skills to fulfil your new positions expectations. Customer Service/guest facing experience is preferred but not essential. Your role will be full time and you must be able to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating shift. The role will require you to work on your own as well as a team environment. You must meet the legal requirements to work in Australia as no sponsorship will be offered. You will require a full drivers licence as you will be required to drive resort vehicles.
