Your day to day

Job Summary

Responsible for gathering and analyzing data necessary to provide key segment performance insights. Provide analytical support for various projects including analysis, reporting and market research. Leverage revenue and operational data to explain sales performance and to identify opportunities for sales growth.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·  Design and build standard periodic Sales performance reports for Key Stakeholders,
·  Develop and manage month end reporting, commentary, and action plan processes for regional sales leadership team.
·  Provide month end results and ad hoc analysis in a format that is easy for sales leaders and business units to understand and adapt.
·  Provide analytical support to sales segment leaders.
·  Provide presentations and decks to sales leaders based on interpretation of data analysis to report findings and provide a recommendation based on the results.

 

 

What we need from you

Required Skills 

·  Highly organized, analytical and keen to details.
·  Demonstrate the ability to conduct trends, key drivers and segmentation analyses
·  Good programming skills for data extraction and transformation (preferably SQL or SAS)
·  Working knowledge of analysis and reporting tools (Essbase, SAS, Business Objects, Tableau)
·  Advanced knowledge of MS Excel used for business reporting and analysis
·  Demonstrate the ability to integrate massive data to generate insights for business decision-support
·  Demonstrate the ability to explain complex analyses in relatively simple terms
·  Demonstrates clear, concise, and succinct communication skills, including adapting both technical verbal and written communication to the needs and level of the user.

Qualifications 

Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Marketing or other related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.

Experience 

1 to 2 years progressive work related experience working within the business analytical environment and with relational decision-support databases and analytical consulting with demonstrated proficiency and understanding in one or more functions related to the position.
