About us

As the world’s first international luxury travel hotel brand, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts has been pioneering new international destinations for decades. Each of our hotels is a destination in its own right, and we are dedicated to those who appreciate and enjoy The InterContinental Life – the glamour and exhilaration of fascinating places, mixed with our international know-how and local cultural wisdom.

InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort reflects the grand, graceful architecture of a classic Queensland estate, nestled within the beautiful surrounds of Sanctuary Cove. With 243 distinctive guest rooms and suites, promising charm, elegance and privacy, InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort offers guests an enviable collection of exclusives– from access to three championship golf courses and the Sanctuary Cove Country Club, to the ultimate indulgence with Queensland's only High Coffee experience.

Your day to day

Adding a passionate and worldly team who can bring the InterContinental Life alive is the last puzzle piece for the Resort’s delivery of rich and personal experiences. As a part time Bell Attendant you will ensure sure our guests feel welcome each time they connect with InterContinental Continental Sanctuary Cove Resort. You will act as the first point of contact when a guest arrives and respond promptly to guest requests. Performing various errands to ensure their needs, comfort and satisfaction are met and their stay is pleasant and memorable. You will be responsible for managing guest arrivals and luggage; receiving and ensuring correct delivery of luggage to and from rooms and valet parking of cars. You will also assist Concierge with arranging tours, transportation, dinner bookings and activities for guests.

What we need from you

Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar role within a front office environment and be passionate about offering every guest a warm welcome and friendly efficient service. Or you'll already be working within an operational role within a hotel or resort environment and be looking for an opportunity to grow. You will need to hold the required work rights to work within Australia with no restrictions and a full clean drivers license, ability to work irregular shifts across a rotating seven day roster and be physically fit to lift heavy luggage and packages. Local knowledge of Gold Coast would also be advantageous.
