Windows Server Systems and Applications Administrator

Job description

In this exciting role, you will maintain Windows Server 2012R2 and later operating systems via remote administration tools over a globally-distributed Wide Area Network.

·  Maintain and administer BMC Remedy Action Request System (ARS) application, mid-tier, and database server components.
·  Administer Active Directory user and computer accounts, organizational units, and group memberships.
·  Maintain and administer Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).
·  Maintain software configuration and security compliance through use of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and remote scripts.
·  Perform disaster recovery backup and restoration of server systems.
·  Create, configure, maintain, and administer VMware virtual machines.
·  Assist technical support staff with in Windows 10/later workstation configuration, administration.
·  Windows Server maintenance
·  BMC Remedy ARS administration and maintenance
·  Apply Security Technical Information Guide (STIG) security hardening settings
·  Apply server software updates
·  Administer Active Directory accounts and objects
·  Work is conducted out of the client's facilities in Fort Eustis/Newport News
