Technical Solutions Architect_DevOps on Z

Who you are :

As a Technical Solution Architect, you will work very closely with IBM partners to define modernization solution "in place" on the mainframe in the Z Devops area.

You will develop solution for partners or work with partners to co-create solutions to be taken to clients. Aside from creating solutions and implementing them, you will be talking to various partners and technical audience to enable them on IBM technologies and solutions and help them with PoCs and other technical activities such as hands on exercises etc.

You will work with esteemed technical leaders and business leaders in IBM and in partner organizations in creating solutions and conducting enablement sessions and helping with PoCs.

What you'll do:
·  Focus on integrations existing DevOps solutions, API Management, and other strategic parts of the software portfolio.
·  Conduct architecture workshops that articulate how Z DevOps fits into modernization and digital transformation initiatives, and deliver a high level transformation roadmap as a result of this engagement
·  Train and mentor SI teams in delivering architecture workshops to ensure scalability and drive towards meeting SI driven revenue requirements
·  Design and develop innovative solutions to address customer requirements using Z DevOps . Ensure other IBM sales and development areas are engaged as necessary to support customer requirement.
·  Maintain current functional and technical knowledge of Z DevOps and the various tooling that are part of it and the strengths that IBM tooling has relative to market competitors
·  Manage, balance and drive multiple requests across simultaneous client engagements
·  Provide clear and constructive product feedback to IBM's offering Management teams based on customer requirements and experiences
·  Help to document best practices in implementing and leveraging Z DevOps
·  Function as a front-line thought leader who can derive best practices and constantly innovate.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  10 to 15 years of overall Industry experience, a significant part of which should be with IBM Z.
·  Experience creating DevOps solutions for Z with Clients.
·  Good knowledge of software ecosystem on Z.
·  Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and experience with DevOps tools on Z.
·  Working knowledge of large applications on Z.
