Your Role and Responsibilities This role reports into the Delivery Lead/Director and is responsible for implementing Mulesoft for our clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Facilitate integration workshops to gather requirements
- Clearly articulate trade-offs between various integration options and make recommendations
- Clearly articulate client's complex business flows into simplified reusable APIs, in system level, process level and to the experience level
- Effectively collaborate with business consultants, project team and client resources to determine technical and functional requirements
- Provides advanced technical and/or business consultative services during both the pre-sales and post sales cycles
- Gather and analyse requirements, define and execute the integration plan
- Work with enterprise and technical architect(s) to provide a consensus-based enterprise solution that is scalable, adaptable and in synchronization with ever changing client needs
- Adherence with best practices related to solution design, documentation, and guidelines that lead to the identification, selection, development and use of solutions and applications
- Creation and delivery of all solution related documentation, providing input and solution guidance to the technical lead for custom solutions
- Promotion of best practice related solutions and integrated applications to reduce costs and improve overall adoption
Required Professional and Technical Expertise
- Advanced Knowledge of Mulesoft Platform & Capabilities and excellent experience developing and delivering solutions on the Salesforce platform
- Minimum 5 years' experience implementing Mulesoft Services Projects, Enterprise Integration Design & Implementation
- 5 years minimum experience in Service Delivery roles
- Strong experience in Application Development using Mule ESB and SOA/EAI technologies and API management
- Experience with Mule 4 OR very good understanding of differences between Mule 3.x and 4.x
- Experience with the entire API development lifecycle from Design and Build to Governance and Management
- Fluent in Mulesoft RAML for designing APIs (Restful API Modelling Language)
- Experience building complex transformations using DataWeave (Mulesoft Transformation Language)
- Experience designing patterns and managing middleware solutions including: Message Routing, Content Enrichment, Message Filtering, Message Transformation, Message sequencing, Batch message processing, Error Handling and reconciliation mechanisms.
- Experience designing integration flows using Mule ESB Anypoint Studio
- Understanding of Salesforce Platform APIs (SOAP, REST, Metadata, Streaming, Platform Events etc.), Salesforce Force.com Platform features/functions/capabilities and Salesforce SDLC
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
- Familiarity with different deployment models - On prem, CloudHub, Hybrid
- Familiarity with Enterprise API Standards (SOAP, REST, OpenAPI/Swagger, etc.) and Enterprise Messaging Standards (Mule, JMS, MQ, Kafka, etc.)
- Knowledge of Programming Standards including: JAVA, J2EE, JavaScript, JMS, SOAP / REST Web Services, XSLT, XML, JSON
- Experience with DevOps standards including CI/CD (Jenkins), Automated Source Scanning, Testing, and Deployment
- Hands on experience with development tools, IDEs, source control, etc.
- Experience with Agile development methodology
- Broad understanding and perspective on Enterprise IT topics including Enterprise Architecture, Design, and Implementation of Cloud Solutions
- Salesforce certifications – Platform Developer I, Integration Architecture Designer
- MuleSoft certifications – Developer (Mule 4), Platform Architect
- Travel Requirement: 25-50%
