Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Associate Business Transformation Consultant (BTC) at IBM, you'll work right at the intersection of technology, people, and process, helping our clients transform how they adapt to shifts in the market, and more closely align their business strategy and vision. You'll help clients understand leading technologies and the impact they can have on traditional business processes, as well as an opportunity to build a powerful portfolio of interesting and rewarding experiences. Leveraging a growth mindset, you're ready and willing to deliver business value, wherever needed.

As a Digital Change / Organizational Change Management Consultant you will play a crucial role in ensuring that transformation projects and change initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. The primary responsibility will be designing, creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize organizational resistance.

In your role, you may be responsible for:
- Applying a structured organizational change management methodology and leading change management initatives
- Projecting business values of a solution in client-relevant terms and driving adoption of the KPI impact with key client stakeholders
- Assessing the change impact, conducting impact analysis, assessing change readiness and identifying key stakeholders
- Developing a Change Management Plan to drive faster adoption and higher utilization of process/system changes
- Supporting communication efforts, developing a communication plan and aligning it with the overall project objectives and timeline
- Supporting training efforts, developing training plans, documenting requirements and supporting the design and delivery of training programs
- Identifying and managing anticipated resistance of the organization and of the users
- Using IBM's Design Thinking to help solve client's challenges and analyzing data to support conclusions and strategies
- Defining and measuring change programs success metrics and monitoring change progress
- Leading and managing change management projects, aligning them with company objectives and goals
- Developing detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets
- Managing project risks and issues, implementing mitigation actions where necessary

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Bachelor’s or Master degree in Management Engineering, Economics or related fields.
- Italian mother-tongue and fluent in English with strong communication skills both in writing and verbally
- Ability to be a part of complex global change management engagements in multiple context such as ERP implementation, Digital and AI transformation, process transformation, M&A / Strategic Outsourcing
- Ability to understand clients' needs and business challenges, and apply creative and logical approach to identify viable solutions and translate them into a business case
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective change management actions and initiatives
- Ability to communicate complex situations clearly and simply by listening actively and conveying difficult messages in a positive manner
- Ability to apply Organization Change Management (OCM) frameworks, methodologies and tools to create a change strategy to drive adoption and support the transformation initiatives and the transition to new operating models
- Exposure to developing and executing high quality communication plans and strategies including design and development of quality communication collaterals - Mailers/ newsletters/ posters/ flyers etc.
- Exposure to supporting training efforts by managing the development and deployment of training materials using the most appropriate and effective training channels and methods
- Exposure to managing training logistics such as invitations, scheduling, evaluation, and material distribution, ideally including exposure to a Learning Management System (LMS)
- Exposure to digital content authoring tools and communications platforms and technologies (ex. Adobe Captivate, Canva, Mentimeter, SurveyMonkey,...)
- Proficient use of MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel – especially in the context of designing training and communications materials, business reports, data analysis, etc
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of a project lifecycle
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, while maintaining focus in an environment with conflicting demands

- Conduct organization impact analysis and enterprise redesign strategies emerging out of large-scale transformation/business model innovation/digital transformation/globalization initiatives and identify key stakeholders
- A high level of motivation, initative, proactivity and sense of responsibility
- A passion for innovative ideas, coupled with the ability to understand and assimilate different points of view
- A love for collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
- Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Drive and resourcefulness to overcome the most challenging or difficult obstacles and look for ways to improve results
- Strong quantitative analysis skills and the ability to derive recommendations informed by data and insights
- Exposure to PMO / Project Management
- Knowledge of HR Processes and HR Management Systems such as SAP SuccessFactors
