The Digital and Commercial Territory Representaitve in this incentive role is responsible for closing sales that are a result of a discussion associated with qualified leads/ opportunities generated from clients, IBM client reps, brand specialists, and inside client representatives, in response to direct marketing efforts, or new acquisition programs. Client communication can occur via phone, email, text chat, or other social media. Is proficient in the discipline offerings, has knowledge of other discipline products, and has the sales and technical experience to successfully close a sales engagement. Understands the competition. An Inside Sales Specialist uses database technology to record client/prospect information. Primary measurements are revenue and profit. The employee focuses on individual/team/department/ operational objectives.
