The IBM Client Innovation Center in East Lansing, MI, is looking to hire an experienced DevOps engineer to help support our clients with automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across multiple environments. In this fastpaced and expanding organization, we foster an environment of continuous innovation and working in agile teams.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for development of solutions by working with product manager, scrum master, architects, developers and business stakeholders.
Must have the ability to work in the US without current/future need for IBM sponsorship
Creation and enhancement of Continuous Integration automation across multiple platforms, using Jenkins and/or VSTFS
Creation and enhancement of Continuous Deployment automation built on Docker and Kubernetes.
Creation and enhancement of dynamic monitoring and alerting solutions using industry leading services.
Developing automation to ensure security across a geographically dispersed hosting environment.
Support our clients from our East Lansing center. However, some travel is expected and all candidates must be willing and able to travel to meet our client needs across the US. Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and training at the client site (Monday thru Friday). You are expected to travel approximately 50% of the time. This is a traditional office position. You must live in , or be willing to relocate to, MICHIGAN . The work location is 196 Crescent Rd, East Lansing, MI 48824. This is not a work from home position.
