Cluster Revenue Analyst

Job description

In the position of Cluster Revenue Analyst, you will be responsible to provide revenue accounting and business best practices to Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht and Hyatt Regency Amsterdam.

The Cluster Revenue Analyst is responsible to assist the Cluster Revenue Manager in providing the analysis of revenue, profit and demands associated with the hotel's rooms and function space inventory as well as the preparation of forecasts and analyze the progress of budget and projections.

You will:
- Manage and oversee revenue management analytic functions to produce reporting that support and evaluate hotel business strategies to maximize overall hotel revenue.
- Provide guidance and support sales and marketing initiatives that are targeted to meet the needs of the hotel.
- Produce accurate revenue forecasts that help set hotel goals and outgrow the competition.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reporting through the use of business intelligence and revenue management systems that support hotel business strategies to maximize overall hotel revenue.

- Ensure the inventory distribution through all channels is in line with Hyatt's distribution strategy
- Ensure daily pricing strategies are optimized and to review / assist in the re-design of the pricing strategies if necessary
- Provide guidance and support sales and marketing initiatives that are targeted to meet the needs of the hotel.
- Conduct training with Front Office employees to ensure correct procedures are in place at check in and check out, ensuring the availability and validity of data for analysis

Desired profile

Qualifications :

• Ideally with a university degree in Strategic Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism management.
• Minimum 1 year work experience as Revenue- or Marketing Analyst or equivalent.
• Good Strategic orientation, as well as good problem solving, task/project management, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Ability to perform critical analysis and to work well under pressure and meet deadline(s).
• Previous hotel experience is an asset.
