We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Finance NFR Manager - FINANCE CONTROL OFFICE

Principal responsibilities:

·  Supporting an effective internal control environment for the firm’s financial reporting within the Second Line of Defence (""SLOD"").
·  Supporting the Senior FRR Manager in enabling FRR Stewardship to exercise appropriate risk and control oversight, and provide guidance to First Line of defence (""FLOD"").
·  Provide independent oversight of the management of FRR including application of FRR standards, policies and processes.
·  Provide review, support and guidance to the 1LOD to ensure that an effective control environment is maintained.
·  Works together with the Senior Financial Reporting Risk Manager, in overseeing the oversight of Financial Reporting Risk within the business.
·  Advises, reviews and challenges throughout the Risk and Control Assessment process within the business, including reviewing and challenging data quality where appropriate.
·  Provides advice, review and challenge over issues and actions, including narrative, path to green, root cause analysis and closure. 

Requirements

·  Finance or Accounting qualification with relevant work experience in Finance (e.g. financial or regulatory reporting or management information) or Audit is preferred.
·  Strong control mindset and good understanding of processes in Finance is preferred.
·  Problem solving and analytical skills.
·  Sound commitment to continuous improvement, self-motivated, confident, and capable of working autonomously as well as part of a team
·  Verbal and written communication skills.
·  Able to cope with pressure and tight deadlines.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
