About Global Functions

HSBC's Global Functions play a vital role in supporting the bank's Global Businesses and offer a broad range of career opportunities in areas from Legal, Risk and Finance to Human Resources, Sustainability, Marketing and Communications. Our operational and functional teams around the world help HSBC's Global Businesses to operate efficiently and effectively on a day-to-day basis. They also focus on controls and governance to reduce risk and protect the Group's reputations.

The global Marketing function is focused on supporting the strategic and revenue growth priorities of the Bank. The function focuses on understanding customers and the identification, development and execution of Marketing strategies, campaigns and activities that support and strengthen the HSBC brand, support the drive for revenue and increase customer value and satisfaction in order to meet agreed targets and objectives.

Key Objectives for Executive Assistant:
· Executive Assistants provide administrative support. Role holders will exercise confidentiality, tact and diplomacy skills and will have sufficient expertise in their area to deputize for their superior and/or actively participate in meetings.
· They may also oversee small projects and have minor decision making authority/autonomy.
· This Executive Assistant role is a good foundation for an entry level position within marketing, so the incumbent will have the opportunity to support marketing events and campaigns as needed
Principle Accountabilities:

Role holders will carry out tasks such as:
· Organizing schedules, maintaining diaries, arranging travel and accommodation
· Coordinating activities, events, resources, meetings, services and managing internal and external stakeholders
· Supporting administration, composing presentations, drafting reports and assisting with key documents such as business plans
· Deputizing at meetings and making decisions on matters relating to the business area
· Managing external relationships and service providers
· Gatekeeper or primary point of contact roles for an area
· Adhere to HSBC policies and maintain confidentiality on sensitive activities in the remit area

Qualifications :

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
·  Self-starter and ability to multi-task and execute with excellence
·  Strong project management skills
·  Strong socialization and follow up skills
·  Professional and good stakeholder management
·  University degree (Business)
·  Some experience with compliance/regulation/procedures, and Marketing would be an asset
