We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Distribution Development and Support Lead .

Principal Responsibilities

·  Primarily accountable to the Head of Wealth Insurance Distribution and responsible for the overall distribution strategies formulation and implementation to drive and support high insurance growth and profitability from retail banking channel
·  Responsible for influencing and managing new business by providing targeted distribution support to maximise top and bottom-line benefits to achieve targets
·  Being the first point of contact for Insurance Specialists leaders, with a view to drive retail channel management in the aspects of relationship management, technical product support, training support
·  Work closely with all internal parties of HSBC Insurance to optimise end to end sales processes and to maximize customer, relationship management, and sales experience
·  Support product development with internal product teams by identifying new product opportunities based on competitive intelligence, market trends, customer demand and analysis
·  Manage and review distribution Management Information reports to monitor business flow
·  including tracking of sales, market trends and conducting retention analysis to manage business mix, market trends
·  Collaborate with different departments to drive the implementation of new insurance initiatives including Product, Marketing, Process, Regulatory, etc

Requirements

·  Degree required with preference for advanced degree completion
·  Solid Experiences in Insurance or Banking focused on product, business development, marketing or sales
·  Specialist product knowledge in Life products with demonstrated experience of selling and customer servicing
·  Results orientated with emphasis on the customer and quality
·  Able to apply excellent commercial judgment and entrepreneurial thinking
·  Able to create a positive working relationship with senior executives internally and externally
·  Significant level of risk, sales quality and compliance awareness
·  Possess the technical and operational expertise and experience to deliver the full and complete customer and business partner quality experience individually and collectively
·  Be a self-motivated, pro-active, self-starter with the ability to act and perform with minimal direction or instruction
·  Customer driven with demonstrated commitment to improving customer experience
·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills with high written and oral proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
