Digital Editor


The Digital Editor should be excited about commissioning and publishing outstanding digital content that helps people understand and manage their finances.

They will work closely with a team of writers, as well as Digital as a Channel colleagues in EMEA, ASP and the Americas, to create, edit, distribute and measure original, compelling and compliant content.

Responsibilities
· Commission and edit customer focused personal finance and wealth related content
· Be accountable for published content meeting quality and compliance standards, and tone of voice and editorial guidelines set by HSBC
· Identify new opportunities and formats, and promote a test and learn approach to content production
· Work closely with search, social, data analytics and risk teams to derive insights and facilitate effective distribution
· Measure and report on performance of content against key metrics to senior stakeholders
· Run editorial meetings and shape and maintain editorial calendars
· Build a strong network of internal relationships to increase efficiencies in content production and distribution
· Help drive continuous improvement in content production process

Desired profile



Qualifications :

·  Creative mind full of ideas on new ways to create and present content
·  Exceptional eye for detail and editing skills
·  Proven experience – and interest – in personal finance
·  Strong digital background with excellent knowledge of digital publishing, data and distribution
·  Good understanding of customer experience and the role of content in improving it
·  Excellent communicator, able to build relationships and navigate a complex organisation
·  Experience using data analytics tools to inform and measure output
·  Experience working with content management systems

This role will be based in Leeds.
