Job description
Principal Accountabilities
Partial assumption of the role of a Technology Service Owner (ITSO) for assigned systems on the topics of Service-, Change-, Risk-, Access-Management, Governance, Architecture and Vendor Liaison.
Working with other development teams to map requirements to delivery schedules and pipelines
Conducting research – both in technology but also business process and strategy – to ensure knowledge of best practice needed to support delivery for business stakeholders
Supervise the use of the agreed standards and best practices
Lead a team of engineers to achieve SDLC targets
Excellent problem solving, risk analysis, mitigation and influencing skills
Ability to interact with Sr. management
Maintaining a safe and secure work environment
Developing personal growth opportunities
Experience working with stakeholders outside the team
Mentor junior members of the team
Provide technical leadership for the team

Qualifications :
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
8+ years of technical experience in designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and improving software in the z/OS Mainframe environment
Experience in building Batch- and CICS-Cobol applications based on DB2 databases
Extensive experience in using DB2 Databases and SQL
At least basic MQ Series knowledge
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Experience working in Agile methodology - in Scrum environment
Proven team player with the ability to work independently
Knowledge of the German language (A2) is desirable and helpful
Basic knowledge of the banking business
Ability to work under pressure and within tight time-lines
Strong communication and inter-personal skills
Ability to understand business requirements
