Job Description:

   

This HPE Master Data Management Solution lead position is critical to support HPE Material Master Centre of Excellence. One of the major responsibility is to analyze  S4 Material Master data field values  to identify discrepancies and monitor fixing them by various work streams. Proactively identify discrepancies based on intelligently created reporting solutions in a big data environment. Ability to provide consultancy to various work streams to solve critical issues related to Material Master.  

Responsibilities:

·  Understand SAP S4 material master and how it serves business execution
·  Understand databases and their relationships in S4 environment
·  Analyze data using quality tools and statistical tools
·  Use all reporting tools and create dashboards and metrics using PowerBI/Qliksense/R/Fiori
·  Interact with stakeholders to ensure that deliverables are as per their requirement
·  Take up new assignments based on request by management and stakeholders
·  Upgrade knowledge and skills based as per job requirement
·  Manage application databases for production, QA, development systems.
·  Ability in programming, database creation, updates, querying in big data environment
·  Strong capability to evaluate, validate and QA analytical data models using automated techniques
·  Strong communication skills and ability to interact with our business, product, and development teams
·  Communicate/share information regarding the SAP S4 MM solution to the stakeholder community
·  Drive enterprise-wide approach to MM problem solving and capability development with the business functions
·  Identify opportunities to bring in efficiencies and enable solutions in a proactive manner.
·  Drives innovation and integration of new technologies. Quality initiatives into projects and activities in the engineering organization.

Knowledge and Skills:

·  Strong IT Product knowledge to manage Material Master, Bill of Material, Engineering changes, product lifecycle, All data fields across quote to cash cycle.
·  Knowledge in Supply Chain function, Sales Operation and Order Management.
·  Dashboard creation using PowerBI, Qliksense, R  and management insights
·  Database management in big data environment
·  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Experience:

·  Graduate in Engineering, Information technology, electronics engineering, Industrial engineering. Post graduate preferred
·  10 years of Material master management in SAP environment, at least 2 years in S4.
·  HANA, Vertica, Hadoop database, query and reporting
·  Project management
