IT Technology Engineer Intern

HPE IT is undergoing an extensive transformation program to deploy state of the art systems like Hybrid Cloud, New ERP system based on Sap S4 HANA, and a new Integration Fabric platform. HPE has both legacies, and new technology in the landscape and that creates opportunities to adjust support model and practices.

HPE is looking for an intern with experience in Integration Fabric such as Snap Logic, Kafka, Message Broker, Enterprise Service Bus to integrate Legacy system and new S4 platform This intern will identify gaps in mapping, testing process and identify areas of opportunities for improvement. The candidate needs to have experience developing MicroServices and deploy the services onto application server such as Node.js.

This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in IT applications inventory, Integration Platforms, and potential opportunities for similar large IT organizations.

Responsibilities

·  Gather information from multiple source systems and organize for comparison and consolidation.
·  Proactively search for symptoms and patterns and provides recommendations or solutions.
·  Prepare mindmap for all the different  integration patterns and keep up to date the API central repository
·  Recommend actions needed to improve the health of the Integration Platform.
·  Interface with cross-functional IT teams and functions across geographies.

Experience

·  Experience with Java, SpringBoot,  Reactive and Node.js
·  Work experience related to Kafka, JMS, Mapping tools, Integration Bus, GitHub
·  Experience developing Restful API and maintaining API repository(Swagger)
·  Familiarity with SQL concepts and techniques 
·  Excellent verbal and written skills

Education

Current student in undergraduate, masters, or MBA program.
