The opportunity

 

As part of our EMEA regional legal team, your work is intellectually challenging, exciting and fast-paced and developing innovative and creative solutions to varied legal questions is part of your daily business.

We are looking for a talented lawyer to lead and support our EMEA Operations activities (Procurement, SupplyChain, andManufacturing)

The position is based at our European Operations headquarters inLuxembourg.Some Europeantravelmay be required.

 

Responsibilities:

•You will serve as the primary lawyer responsible for advising the business on a broad range of corporate, commercial, regulatory.
•You will work directly with the business, serving as legal counsel on strategic deals, providing day-to-day advice, resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries. This includes:
•Structuring, drafting and negotiating all type of commercial agreement (Purchasing of goods (MRO) or services (logistic, marketing, IT, etc.. )) .
•You will report to the Legal Director EMEA and :
•Provide legal assistance on the implementation of Operations projects throughout the EMEA region;
•Provide legal advice and assistance on product quality issues;
•Provide general legal advice on applicable laws and regulations and on all company policies and guidelines (Compliance, Privacy, FCPA,etc);
•Contribute to and providing legal training and coaching to the Operations teams on various legal and compliance matters

 

Tojoin our team you will need:

 

Education

Master degree in law (Private law or Business law). Admitted to practice as an attorney in the European union.

 

Languages

Fluent in English. German and/or French would be seen as an advantage.

 

Experience

At least 7 years’ experience as lawyer in a reputable law firm or in-house. Experience in procurement, manufacturing or supply chain will be considered as an asset.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

•Communicateseffectively and ability to deal with people at all levels top management include.
•Hands-onproject management experience, including excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage a large number and variety of mission-critical projects and working independently.
•Stronganalytical and problem solving skills
•Abilityto build effective relationships
•Exceptionalwritten and verbal communication skills, as well as demonstrated proficiency in working closely with and advising senior executives of an organization.
