Role Summary/Purpose

The Master Planner will work within the Engineering department. As a Engineering Master Planner you will be responsible for planning, organizing and scheduling a portfolio of Designs in accordance with established procedures to ensure on time delivery.
Essential Responsibilities

• Create and manage a rolling 12-month Forecast for listed known designs. Utilize the design team capacity, taking into consideration the tendering activities, actual contract designs and sales forecast opportunities.
• The design teams are spread in 12 locations having 5 main skills necessary to perform a design.
• Review backlog and forecast Engineering load with Global Supply Chain on a weekly basis and suggest modifications consistent with knowledge of current or historical demands.
• Derive a rolling 3-month engineering schedule based on current orders in hand, stock planned order, working with the Tendering and Fulfillment Team representatives.
• Support the S&OP process meetings to review plan to meet demands and resources implications, updating the Forecast as necessary.
• Analyse and identify risks associated with the options built into the Forecast, including manufacturing lead times and work with Materials and Global Supply Chain teams to mitigate the risks.
• Conduct functional training for Planners and Buyers as well as rolling out communication and provide subsequent training that is a result of system changes and/or enhancements.
• Timely reporting of key metrics.
• Manage other tasks and projects related to the management of the Engineering Team.
Qualifications/Requirements

• Min. bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or relevant departments.
• Advanced level of English knowledge in both oral & written
• Min. 5+ years experience in high-volume manufacturing environment
• +3 years Supply Chain Planning experience
• Highly experienced in Production scheduling
• Experience of Forecast preparation and management
• Familiar with S&OP processes
• Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain concepts and application
