Job Description Summary
As Manufacturing Engineer (f/m/d), you will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering Repair department and give technical support to the production of gas turbine products at the GE Vernova production site in Birr. Through process and cost optimization, you will daily maintain the competitiveness of our Service Center and drive results for our customers.Job Description
Main Tasks
•Provides technical support to drive closure of jobs within special processes
•Planning and implementing repair procedures based on GE documentation
•Identify, drive, mentor and implement projects that improve overall production safety, quality, cycle and cost for assigned special process
•Analyze problems in process inspections, internal corrective actions as necessary, to improve overall quality systems and scrap control
•Drive Product/Process Qualifications for the Cell/Group by working with RTCoE (Repair Technology Center of Excellence)
•Work with PQE (Process Quality Engineer) & CI (Continuos Improvement) team to drive sustainable process changes
Qualification
•Engineering Bachelor’s Degree or any in a suitable discipline or suitable practical experience
•Knowledge of Lean and/or alternative continuous improvement methods
•Good language skills in German and English
