Role Summary/Purpose
The Learning Operations Associate is an entry level position responsible for executing learning management requests for help in queue(s) from the Learning CoE and business partners; providing customer service in the form of needs clarification, gap/inconsistent application, root cause analysis, problem resolution and/or escalations.
Essential Responsibilities
· Evaluate and execute Learning Management Systems Activities for all GE Businesses; for
example, processing:
· Assignments
· e Learning Courses – New, modifications,
revisions, Completion Credit
· Course Removals
· Content
Testing
· Curriculum's –Adding/Revising/Deactivating
· Exams – New,
modifications, revisions
· Exam Resets
· Instructor Led Training –
Offerings, Roster management
· Read & Acknowledgements (documents/flat files) –
New, modifications, revisions
· Attend on-site training in Cincinnati office for LMS
activities (for example – system upgrades, migrated work, new ticket types,
etc.)
· Collaborate with project teams
· Attend meetings both onsite (e.g., weekly team
huddles) and virtually depending on customer/business/operational need
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college in related area (or a high school
graduate/GED or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant work experience)
Desired Characteristics
· Strong customer service skills and experience, communicating with a
variety of groups of customers at different levels
· Prior experience working in a call
center or help desk managing work in a queue
· Able to manage data
electronically
· Ability to manage multiple projects
· Experience in building
productive working relationships with the business unit you support
· Effective organization
and time management skills
· Able to work with minimal
supervision
· Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS)
· Experience developing training with eLearning software
· Experience in training curriculum development
preferred
· Analytical and problem resolution skills
· Proactive responsible
individual, able to set own action plans
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word,
PowerPoint, Excel)
