Job purpose

The purpose of this job is to prepare financial reports and analyze financial results, cost analysis and budgets. Analyze transactions to determine root causes, variances and recommend corrections to management. Design and create complex reports to user specifications. The position will ideally have to handle more complex issues and special projects than a junior financial analyst.

Your client responsibilities

·  Generate standard financial reports (including inventory reports) on a periodic basis and. Identify and solve issues that affect reporting
·  Handle complex ad hoc reports from clients on a timely manner
·  Take active part in the revenue planning as well as financial planning process
·  Ensure proper review mechanism is in place for the respective teams
·  Develop new reports as well as enhance existing reports by working on automating the report preparation as much as possible
·  Mentor, guide, train junior analysts and new recruits
·  Providing effective solutions and guiding team members on various Functional issues
·  Ensure the career development plan for each team member is adhered We are looking for the candidates with the following:
·  3-5 years in handling financial reporting or other accounting processes
·  B.Com / BBM (with finance and accounts as subjects) /M.Com
·  Strong MS Excel skill
·  Knowledge of basic accounting concepts
·  Good communication skill
