Job summary:

As a member of the Financial Accounting Advisory Services, your main responsibility is to perform statistical and data analysis and research which supplements the various accounting services we provide to our clients. To excel in this role, you need proven knowledge of various quantitative techniques, statistical model development and data analytics.

Key responsibilities:

Broad Functions:
 
Participates in FAAS engagements and other Firm activities under the supervision of more experienced staff members. Prepares himself/herself for more responsibilities in the Firm.

Technical Requirements and Duties
·  Has knowledge of the theory, standard, and principles of quantitative analysis and their application to client situations.
·  Evidences ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
·  Develops a thorough understanding and appropriate use of quantitative techniques.
·  Under the supervision and review of a more experienced staff member: obtains competent evidential matter to substantiate the fairness of client’s financial statements; prepares schedules, summaries and reports based on findings; assists in office functions and on special assignments.

Organizational Responsibilities
·  Plans and organizes activities to make use of time.
·  Completes assignments within the time considered reasonable for the particular task.
·  Keeps the person in charge fully informed of progress on assignments, etc.
·  Conforms to the Firm’s administrative policies and requirements, and those of client’s as applicable.

Responsibilities to Clients
·  Has sincere interest in client’s welfare and develops the respect, goodwill and cooperation of client personnel.
·  Demonstrate flexibility and resourcefulness in adapting to client situations.
·  Complies with established rules of professional conduct while working in client’s offices and associating with client’s employees and others.

Responsibility to Develop our Services
·  Knows the general nature of Financial Accounting Advisory Services offered by the Firm.

To qualify, candidates must have:
·  Bachelor's Degree with concentration in quantitative fields (such as, but not limited to, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Sciences)
·  Practical experience and good knowledge of quantitative techniques, statistical model development and data analytics
·  Preferably knowledgeable in the use of software programs for statistical analysis (such as, but not limited to, Python, R and SAS).
·  Preferably with at least 1 to 3 years relevant work experience but open for Fresh Graduates
·  Preferably with experience in Financial Services, either as part of an institution; in an advisory or business
·  A keen desire to continue developing and integrating quantitative skills within both a challenging and rewarding commercial environment
·  Experience with managing expectations of both internal and external stakeholders
·  Excellent report writing skills
·  Good communication skills
