The Opportunity

 

The EY Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team combines all the experience and expertise available within EY in order to offer a complete range of value-added services and to advice on corporate transactions. For cross-border transactions, we deploy multinational teams from the international EY TAS network.

 

Within TAS, our Mergers and Acquisitions team is looking to reinforce the team with talented professionals who can embody a Consultant role.

Keys Responsibilities

As a consultant Mergers & Acquisitions, you will work on major M&A transactions.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include :

·  Assist corporates and financial investors in managing a M&A process from deal sourcing through final closing;
·  Prepare all transaction documentation such as proposals, teaser, information memorandum, management presentation, datarooms…;
·  Analyse company financial statements;
·  Give financial advice to clients;
·  Identify potential targets or investors;
·  Active involvement in client interaction.

 

 

Profile
· 
Master degree in economics related subject;

· 
Excellent knowledge of Dutch, French and English, orally and in writing;

· 
Interest in financial markets and corporate transactions;

· 
Strong analytical skills with good understanding of financial results;

· 
Excellent communication skills, client focused and result oriented;

· 
Strong ability to build working relationships with clients and internally in the industry;

· 
Eager to learn, stress resistant, entrepreneurial, pro-active and hands-on;

· 
Very capable in Powerpoint and Excel;

· 
CFA certification considered a plus.
