Job purpose

Working in a multi-national environment, you will be given the opportunity to work and take responsibilities in challenging projects, gaining exposure to various sectors in Central, South and East Europe region.

 

As professional senior advisor with experience in economics you will be part of our Valuation Modeling & Economic practice, leading and working in projects where knowledge and experience is needed in economic modeling, econometrics and quantitative analysis to address key issues in strategy, regulation, competition, planning and government policy.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have:

· 
Excellent academic background, including a Master’s or PhD degree in Economics or Industrial Economics or Econometrics

· 
3 - 6 years of experience in economic impact assessments, economic analysis, competition & regulatory economics

· 
Ability and experience of applying economic theory to the development and evaluation of public and regulatory policy

· 
Extensive experience in the use and application of various econometric techniques and/or economic models (e.g. CGE and input output modeling) in solving practical questions for cleints

· 
Previous working experience in an Economic Consultancy role will be considered a plus

· 
Ability to demonstrate logic and rational approach to complex problem solving

· 
Ability to manage and develop a team of professionals   

· 
Ability to use initiative and work effectively under pressure

· 
Very good written and oral skills both in Greek and English

·  Excellent teamwork
· 
Very good use of Microsoft Excel, as well as of software for economic/econometric modeling (STATA, Eviews, Matlab, GAMS, GTAP/GEMPACK)

Ideally, you’ll also have

· 
Experience from working in a multinational environment

· 
Client facing experience from a professional services background
