The working environment


You will work as a Jr Engineer Road, within the department Transport Infrastructure, the department within Tractebel that mainly designs/ studies projects related to roads, tram/train connections and airports. Designing and studying the artworks is done in close collaboration with our structural engineering department.

In addition to designing roads, tram and train ways , the design of sewage systems is a second important component, taking into account climate change, sustainable use of water keeping rainwater to a maximum when it falls, ect.

Your job

· 
You will work on infrastructure projects for geometrical and structural design of highways, regional roads and roads in an urban setting

· 
In your projects you will take into account all aspects of infrastructure studies such as spatial design, mobility, safety and sustainability

· 
You will mainly be in charge of projects in Belgium. Missions abroad may also occur

· 
You liaise/ co-ordinate and communicate with other projects/discipline members

· 
You will keep up to date with the evolutions in your projects and discipline

Your profile

· 
You have a Master's degree in Engineering or Industrial Sciences

· 
A first working experience is not mandatory

· 
Working in a team is obvious and motivating for you

· 
You are customer-oriented, flexible and communicative

· 
You are interested in a career in an international environment and you are keen to be involved in missions abroad. For this reason, you are ready to travel abroad regularly for short periods

· 
You have good practical knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project

· 
You are fluent in Dutch (preferably Dutch mother tongue) and in English. Good knowledge of the French language is an asset.

· 
You have a driver's license B
