The working environment


You will work in the Buildings division of Tractebel, especially in the fire safety team. This team provides consultancy regarding fire safety during the full life cycle of assets in which Tractebel is active.

The experts of this team work for a variety of Clients. You will work on several projects in the domain of infrastructure, smart buildings & innovation . As part of a team, you can always count on the expertise and support of your colleagues. Several tools and methods are also developed and available to perform the job. You will be based in the Engie tower of Brussels.

Your function

As junior fire safety digital officer you will provide the digital support for fire safety projects and activities. This involves a close collaboration with international offices and projects teams of Tractebel.

Your function will include:

·  The use of Tractebel's IT tools, and specifically those in fire safety
·  Participate in an innovative fire safety projects
·  Manage the support activities for the fire safety engineers (for example analyze evacuation plans, organization for the digital documents for fire safety audits, ...

Your profile

·  You have a bachelor's degree in IT, or 3 years' experience in the use of IT tools or 3 years' experience as a buildings draughtsman
·  You have an affinity with fire safety
·  You are fluent in French or Dutch with a good knowledge of the second language and a good knowledge of English
·  You consider quality of work as a main priority
·  You are flexible and can adapt your work methods to the specific context of the different projects
