Essential Job Functions

·  Assist FPA with developing standardized monthly financial reporting packages
·  Generate data and report compilation for monthly/quarterly reporting
·  Help manage profit and loss (P&L) actual and forecasting inputs
·  Dept/cost center budgeting
·  Monthly project forecast update input
·  Headcount tracking/modeling/budgeting
·  Assist with systems integrations associated with financial planning and budgeting.
·  Become familiar with P&L, financial modeling (Adaptive & SAP) financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, energy construction industry accounting
·  Engages across the organization to coordinate deliverables and to maintain an understanding of the business and status of on-going service contracts & construction/installation projects as necessary to prepare best estimates/early warnings and to respond quickly to ad hoc questions/requests.
·  Perform deep dive analysis into business overhead expenses and provide recommended
·  Work with project managers, O&M and M&V teams to track project status, revenue recognition matters & other reporting requirements. Adapts tracking mechanics as needed for business evolution.
·  Supports Senior FPA as needed including ad hoc requests (i.e. visitor presentations, monthly reporting, KPI requests, etc).
·  Other miscellaneous day to day activities to provide a well-rounded corporate finance experience
·  Other tasks as assigned by Mentor/Manager.

Requirements

· 
Experience in conducting research and analysis through course work or work experience

· 
Knowledge of percentage of completion & milestone accounting practices

· 
Typically requires highly developed interpersonal skills for gaining necessary collaboration from business partners

· 
Ability to perform Quantitative and analytical modeling and prepare deliverables

· 
Typically, once given general assignments, determines priorities and defines what should be done and how to do it.
Essential Physical Abilities

· 

Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

· 
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
Education/Experience

Required:

· 

Enrolled active student at an accredited 2-or-4 year College or University in good academic standing with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance or related field.

· 
Oral and written communication skills

· 
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

· 
Excellent command of PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred:

· 
SAP or Adaptive a plus
